It has been a few years since I read Tina Reber's "The Love Series", however it has remained to be one of those books that have always stayed with me. Whenever I think of my all time favourite reads, this series always comes to mind. I absolutely loved Ryan and Taryn's story. It was such a dreamy and romantic tale that truly captured my imagination. After all, what girl hasn't fantasied about being swept off their feet by a favourite actor or pop star. Obviously, it's not all going to be as perfect as we would want and this story reflects that.
Because this series has remained in my heart ever since my first read, when I was wondering which audiobook to purchase next, I immediately thought of this one. It had been far too long since I had read both books and I felt like I needed to revisit one of my most treasured romances. I loved this audiobook right from the very start, quickly discovering that I was not going to be disappointed by the audible edition. I found the narrator to be perfect for the role of Taryn. Madeline Maby came across as a warm, outgoing and fun character, exactly how I expected Taryn to be when I first met her. I also felt that Madeline did a great job when it came to reading Ryan's dialogue and the secondary characters, too. Madeline made this story an enjoyable listening experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this series and I was surprised by how much of the story I remembered, proving just how much I loved it and what an impact the book has made on me. I adored revisiting my favourite scenes all over again and, of course having another opportunity to swoon over the gorgeous Ryan Christensen. I am certain that now I have this in my collection, it won't be long before I will be revisiting the story again.
Whether you are new to this series or if you just fancy a revisit, I would highly recommend listening to this audiobook. It truly is a beautiful love story.
