Aww! I loved the conclusion to Ethan and Katie's story. After the harrowing events that took place in the first book, I needed this one to be all about the love so I was relieved to see Ethan and Katie find a happier place in their lives, however it wasn't all love hearts and rainbows for the pair. Throughout the first half of the story, I felt as though my heart was breaking for poor Ethan as he attempted to make amends with Katie. He was such a sweet guy and clearly head over heels in love with Katie but he couldn't seem to catch a break. I felt so sad for him.

From pretty much the first moment I began reading this book I was hooked, each time I put my kindle down, I couldn't wait to to pick it back up again. I was absolutely loving the story and I adored Ethan and Katie. Ethan was so lovely, he melted my heart and Katie remained to be just as sweet as she was in the first book. It was so easy to fall in love with this cute couple. Monica never fails to deliver when it comes to adorable book couples.
Even though the story was full of sweet romance, which I loved there was also a sprinkling of drama thrown in, just enough to make my stomach drop and my heart rate rise. Ethan and Katie were reminded that they had a few more obstacles to tackle before they could settle down, as if they hadn't already had enough challenges in their lives. So Monica kept me waiting to almost the very final chapters before that fairytale ending was in sight but it was well worth the wait. Ethan and Katie were a couple that truly deserved to be happy and it was a joy to finally see something so beautiful as their relationship come from something so ugly.

This was another series from Monica Murphy that I have taken to my heart. Ethan and Katie's journey may not have been an easy one but they proved that by standing strong together they could survive anything. True love wins again! Yay!
