Release blitz & Review: Helena Hunting's "Pucked Over (Pucked #3)."

The Hopeless romantics Book Blog are pleased to be a part of the Release blitz & Review for Helena Hunting's "Pucked Over (Pucked #3)."

Synopsis:

Lily LeBlanc isn’t versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she’s definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend? What could possibly go wrong? Nothing at all.

NHL player, Randy Ballistic, lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy’s more than happy to be Lily’s spring board back into the dating scene.

Casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone’s bound to gets pucked over.

Review-Jo

After a few not-so-great reads lately, this book was exactly what I needed to cure my reading blues. "Pucked Over" was flippen' fantastic from the word go. Luscious Lily and Raucous Randy's story has sneaked into the top spot on my list of favourite books from this author. If you've been following this series, you are going to love it!

He was supposed to be a distraction. A fling. Screwing around for the
sake of gratification and nothing else. He's the last man I should want.

I have adored the characters Helena Hunting has created within this series and Lily and Randy were no exception. Lily, who I had already met in "Pucked Up" was so sweet and fun loving but had been given bad luck when it came to men. Lily was a strong and resilient character with a warm and friendly nature, a girl that I would have loved to been friends with. It was crystal clear that she had a beautiful heart and deserved someone who was going to treat her as well as she deserved. Randy was another star member of the hockey team and my first impression of him was very similar to how I had first felt about Buck and Alex, a guy who was a serial playboy with the name and reputation to prove it. However when I actually got to know Randy I discovered that he was a gorgeous man with a heart as beautiful as Lily's, so as you've probably guessed, they made the perfect match.

"All night long, Lily. I'm gonna be inside you every fucking minute you're here with me."

Meeting Lily changed everything for Randy. I absolutely loved watching the pairs journey together, from their angsty start to the easy banter that they shared and their extremely hot sex fest (Randy was the orgasm giving king!) to the way the book ended, with the most stunning of epilogues. If you love epilogue's you will not be disappointed with this one. I was left with a big soppy smile on my face and a heart that was bursting at the seams.

"I want you to be my girlfriend."
"So you're going for the big-gun label, eh?"

Helena Hunting has written another brilliant story with "Pucked Over." The writing captured me immediately and kept me entertained with every single turn of the page. I was hooked throughout and gutted when I arrived at the end. Yet again, there were so many moments that made me chuckle and I howled with laughter at some of the terminology used to describe certain things. I wanted to store away some of the phrases so I could use them myself, although I'm not sure my husband would be happy if I started to use the words "fur burger" to describe my vagina! Lol. I was so happy that I had the opportunity to catch up with Violet, Alex, Sunny and Buck. Violet again had me in stitches with every word that came out of her mouth. She is such a fabulous character and I really want to go on a night out with her, it would be one hell of a crazy night!!

Now, I'm not sure if this was the last book of the series, but there are still more characters that I would love to know more about so I hope Helena continues with the life and loves of the handsome hockey boys. I for one would definitely read them. If you haven't yet had the chance to start this series I wholeheartedly recommend picking it up. I am confident that you will love each book so far.

"Pucked Over" gets  ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️   from me.
