What is going on with all these men in both the "Corps Security" series and this one? They must all share the same alpha gene somehow because every single one of them are deliciously alpha and deliciously sexy. It is impossible not to love them and Liam was no exception. He was gorgeous, not only did he have the hot caveman persona but he was also caring, patient, understanding, loving... need I go on? Harper Sloan really cannot go wrong with her long line of hunky, alpha book boyfriends.
Sitting there, looking into the darkness I know I've finally found her. I've been
searching for her for as long as I can remember. That person that would make my
heart beat faster. When you grow up with parents like mine, you know without
a shadow of a doubt that a love worth fighting for is a love worth keeping.
In "Bleeding Love", Liam had his eyes set firmly on Megan, who I had previously met in "Unexpected Fate." However it is not necessary to read that one first. Megan's back story was thoroughly covered in this book, every painful memory was told until I knew everything there was to know about her and how she came to be a part of the Hope Town gang. I really liked Megan. She was a sweet girl who had lived through a world of pain and sorrow. I could feel how much she was hurting and I could easily understand why she found it so difficult to move on with her life, even with someone as amazing as Liam Beckett by her side.
Maybe, just maybe, if I let him in just a little he
will understand why I'm absolutely no good for him.
Liam fell in love with Megan the instant he saw her and as such refused to give up on her. He was determined to make her his woman for good. I adored Liam's relentless approach to tear down Megan's walls and work his way into her heart. The way that he supported her and helped her overcome her fears was just beautiful to watch. Liam knew exactly what to say and do to ease Megan's pain and heal her broken heart. I was truly impressed by how much maturity Liam showed for someone of his age. He took me completely by surprise.

I enjoyed reading this story, even though at times it was quite predictable. I loved being reunited with the rest of the "Corps Security" gang and also meeting new characters from this series. I also loved getting to know Megan's adorable daughter, Molly. She was so cute and watching her relationship with Liam and the rest of the Beckett family made my heart melt. She said the most sweetest things. If there was a book award for most delightful kid, I think that Molly would be at the top of the list.
I will definitely continue with this series as I just love finding out how all of my favourite characters are doing and what each of their future holds. If you are a fan of Harper Sloan's or just love sexy, alpha men, this is a series that you will enjoy. "Bleeding Love" gets ❤️❤️❤️❤️ from me.
Excerpt:
His mouth leaves mine and with his hand still on my leg, he demands, “Dig your heels in deep, baby.”
I give him what he wants, but not because he told me to. I give him what he wants because when his hand leaves my leg and pushes into the mattress, bringing his body up he goes even deeper into my body and those heels push hard.
Just as he demanded earlier, my hands go to his shoulders on my own accord and as he takes my body hard, my nails dig in with my heels still pushing hard against the small of his back. Our eyes never leave each other’s probing gaze. Never once do I take my eyes away from his, so full of lust that I know there isn’t an ounce of control left in his body.
He drops his head and I lift up to meet him in a kiss so sweet it doesn’t match the powerful way that he’s taking my body. A kiss that gives me more than words ever could at this moment. His hips slow and as his tongue rolls against mine, his hips start to take me in slow, deep rolls. He doesn’t pull back, just rocks his hips against mine.
I push up and cry out when he slips even deeper.
His lips come from mine and his hooded eyes open a sliver. “Feels like heaven,” he says softly. “Everything, darlin’. Feels like everything.”
Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husband’s chagrin.
