Synopsis:

**Please note this book is a dark romance and deals with serious themes.*

Every day for six years, I used to pray that I would find my way back to the boy I loved.

Until finally, one day, I did.

But that’s the funny thing about life. Nothing good ever lasts, not for me, anyway. You think you’re the one with the power, at least I did, but then I got careless. One tiny mistake, and now I am powerless to stop what comes next.

People think money equals power, but all the money in my bank account, the dirty notes laundered clean that my father left for me, are useless.

Money does not equal power. Power is held by the one with the knife in his hand, tracing shallow cuts into your skin.

Power is held by the one who owns you.

I had power once.

Now, I have nothing.

With the way "Four Score" had ended, this next installment in The Gypsy Brothers Series was one book I was actually scared to read. And rightfully so because it scared the mother f**king life out of me. I mean I knew this was going to be a dark read but what I got actually made me feel physically sick so many times. "Dark" doesn't even come close to some of the stuff I read. This really was in a league of it's own. It actually feels like "Four Score" was a reprieve, a break before Lili Saint Germain took Juliette's story to a whole new level. Trust me, if you think the previous books in this series was sick, twisted, f**ked up, you ain't read nothing yet. Not even big girl panties will save you once you turn the first page.

"What are you planning to do with me?"
"I'm going to destroy you."

"Three Years" saw a huge shift in power and instead of Juliette holding all the cards, it was now Dornan and he was going to make Juliette pay... pay for the death of his sons. Pay for coming into his life. Pay for deceiving him. He was out for blood but he wasn't going to make it quick... oh no. That would be far to easy. This was going to be slow and painful and he was going to enjoy every single minute of it. This man was freakin' insane... that's the only way to describe him. There was no conscience, no guilt, no morals. His actions made me cringe, they sent shivers down my spine and his words... he was one sadistic bastard, rotten to the core.

As for Juliette, she really had hit rock bottom. One careless mistake and she'd thrown all her hard work away. There were moments where I saw her at her lowest, where she could have easily thrown in the towel but I was praying that wouldn't happen. I couldn't bare to see everything she'd had to endure, suddenly be for nothing. But despite the situation she now found herself in, despite the fact that she had lost all control, I loved that she still had a fire in her belly, revenge still at the forefront of her mind, strength resurfacing when she needed it the most. Whether it be in this life or the next, Dornan would pay.

I've still got that fire burning inside me that just wants to completely
obliterate Dornan Ross and everything he has ever touched.

This really was one nail biting, suspenseful, crazy ass hell of a ride, curve balls thrown in adding a whole new dimension to this story, paving the way for the next book entitled "Two Roads." I was also introduced to new characters and became more familiar with others that had been lurking in the background in the previous books, all playing their part in this game of revenge. The question was: were they friend or foe?

"What do you get when you cross two vengeful beasts?"
"You get a war."

If you haven't read this series, I can't recommend it enough. It's just brilliant and Juliette... well I just lover her character and her kick ass ways.

Another amazing addition to the series which gets 5 Hearts from me!!!

Excerpt:

“I’ve got a surprise for you today,” Dornan says throatily, his mouth quirked into a dark smile, a smile that feeds off my suffering. A smile marked with my blood, his full lips coated in a red sheen.

Surprises are bad. I don’t like his surprises. They always hurt me, make me bleed. I don’t even know if I’ve got any blood left in me to bleed for him.

I cry softly as I remember the last words he spoke to me, in his office before he pressed the rag to my face and held it there until the noxious fumes in the material stole my consciousness.

“I know you think this is going to be bad,” he had said, his grip against my face almost enough to break my jaw. “But however bad you think this is going to be? It’s going to be so. Much. Worse.”
