Review-Jo

("Knowing You" is the second book from the "Jade" series. It is a continuing story so you will need to read the first book in the series is "Choosing You" to understand the plot).

The first book left me with such a frightening cliffhanger and so you can imagine my desperation to get stuck into this sequel!!! This book had me feeling so many mixed emotions but it was the questions and the suspense that were well and truly killing me.

"Knowing You" picked up immediately where the previous book ended so nothing is left out. Jade was feeling scarred and alone and Garret had disappeared with his Father. Everything appeared to be getting worse for Jade. The story continued with her attempting to piece things together to find out what was going on and why she was being threatened. I had my suspicions but the author kept me waiting and waiting and I was past half way before I began to get any answers.

As for Garret, that boy didn't let me down! He did everything he could to prove his commitment to Jade, taking care of her and protecting her through all of her problems. Garret became the perfect boyfriend. Unfortunately, Jade continued to have trust issues and couldn't seem to make up her mind about what she really wanted.

"Dammit! How did I get to this place? This place where I'm completely in love with a boy
I'll never be allowed to have. I should know better."

Jade drove me a little mad at times, I know that she had some deep rooted trust issues but that girl gave me whiplash, she changed her mind so many times! Garret had the patience of a true saint.

"You make you're own future Jade. Other people don't make it for you unless you let them.
So if we break up it's going to be because you wanted it. Not me. Not anyone else."

So the story continued with a few unexpected twists and some cute moments between the couple. At last it appeared that their relationship was going to work out. Thank goodness!!! And I was very pleased that this one did not end with a nasty cliffy!

"You said you'd stay with me forever if I wanted you to, Garret. So you better not leave me.
Because I want that. You and me. And whatever this is we have together. i want it forever."

Overall I enjoyed this second book in the series. The story kept me interested throughout and I just love Garret and Jade. Together they made such a great couple. I can't wait to see whats next for them!  "Knowing You" gets 4 dramatic hearts from me!
