Review By Jo Rushton:

This is the second book in the Shattered Hearts Series and as it's a sequel, I would definitely say read book #1 "Relentless" before getting stuck into this one.

"Pieces of You" begins with Adam's Point of view and each chapter is told from either Adam's, Claire's or Chris's point of view thus giving the reader a chance to get a better understanding of each character, their feelings and their thought processes.

In this book, we see Claire has returned to college with Adam working miles away leaving the couple living apart and trying to make a long distance relationship work. This opens the doors for Chris giving him the opportunity to be there for Claire when Adam can't.

"I love you, Claire. I want you know that I won’t do anything to jeopardize
what we have. If anything does happen while I'm gone, I won’t hesitate
to hop on a plane and come back here to fight for what’s mine"

Claire is trying to cope with the fact that she gave her baby up for adoption and Chris is determined to find their baby and rekindle the relationship they once had. When Adam makes the decision to take a break from his relationship with Claire, Chris is given the opportunity that he needs. I couldn’t really understand Adam's reasons behind this break. Instead of fighting for their relationship, he seemed to just give up, a decision he would regret later.

Claire is confused about her feelings leaving her torn between the two men. Although she loves Adam, she also loves Chris. The bond that having a child together brings plus the love she feels for him helps her to make a decision.

"You're mine, and a piece of you will always belong to me in the same
way a piece of me will always belong you"

The story turns into a love triangle and Claire really doesn’t know who to choose. I can’t blame her because I wouldn’t know who to choose either!  How do you choose between a hot surfer boy who loves you so much and an equally hot rock star that will do anything for you and writes love songs to sing to you? What a choice to make!

The book ends leaving Claire with even more decisions to make and the story is far from over. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series “Bring Me Home” which is out in August so not too long to wait.
This book definitely gave me a little more than  "Relentless" and I've rated it 4.5 hearts
