I'm sure that Lauren Blakely's books keep getting hotter and hotter. "Sinful Desire" was so hot that I wouldn't have been surprised if my smoke detectors went off. It was seriously scorching!! Sophie and Ryan's story wasn't just about their fantastic sex life. The couple's romance ran alongside a continuing plot that kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page.
If you read "Sweet Sinful Nights", you may remember Ryan Sloane. He was one of Shannon's brothers. Ryan wanted control over everything, believing this was the only way he could live. He refused to give his trust to anyone, so for him relationships were a no-go area. I felt truly sorry for Ryan, the experiences from his past were continuing to haunt him, leaving him consumed with what had happened and unable to live a normal life. Out of all of his family, I felt that he was hurting the most.
When Ryan first met Sophie, it was insta-lust. The couple could not keep their desires in check and it wasn't long before they were tearing one another's clothes off. Sophie and Ryan were so hot for each that their sexual adventures made me blush. They were insatiable. I loved the couple's relationship, they got on amazingly well together, giving each other what they both needed. Control and submission. They also got on brilliantly outside of the bedroom. Sophie and Ryan made a fun and sexy pair. They were perfect for one another and I soon got the impression that Ryan's relationship rules were about to be thrown out of the window.
He wanted the woman, inside and out, body and mind, heart and soul.
For the first time ever, Ryan Sloan was falling.
I loved Sophie's character. She was fun and lively and had great taste in clothes and shoes. She appeared to be one of those girls who could get along with everyone because of her bubbly personality and sweet nature. Sophie also had a big heart and I knew that very soon, her heart would be full to burst with Ryan Sloan. They truly made the most ideal couple, the only problem was that, unbeknown to Sophie, a connection linked Ryan to Sophie's brother, a connection that involved Ryan's past. A past that Sophie knew nothing about. This connection worried me throughout most of the story, I was certain that something was about to go disastrously wrong for the pair and I was willing Ryan to tell Sophie the truth before it was too late.

This story was filled with hot kinky sex, delicious romance and nail biting suspense. I was engrossed in the story from start to finish, not once losing interest and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. The Sloan family problems are far from over. This is a continuing series focused around a different couple with each new story but with the same plot running throughout so for that reason I would recommend reading "Sinful Nights" in series order.

“His fingers traveled along her spine and up her neck to her hair, grabbing it, turning her so she looked up at him. Her eyes were hazy and full of a lust that matched his. “Do you have any idea what you do to me?” he asked harshly.
“I think I do.”
“You are under my skin,” he whispered, as he kept her pressed against the warm hood with one hand, then slinked his other hand down to her waist, and unfastened the slim, orange belt. “And in my head,” he continued as he snapped the belt free. “And I can’t fucking stop thinking about you.”
“I can’t stop either,” she said, and in a flash he wrapped the belt around her wrists, knotting it, twisting it, and tying her hands together with her own accessory. She allowed him, offering up her wrists to be bound. She was a willing hostage.
“That turns me on even more,” he growled in her ear, as he stretched her tied arms along the silver hood.
“Tying me up?”
“Yes,” he said, pressing his erection against her ass. “But what makes me rock hard is the way you let me. The way you want me to. The way you give your body to me,” he said as he grabbed a condom from his pocket, unzipped his pants, and pushed down his briefs.”
