As a teenager, I was a book worm...... and a hopeless romantic. Put the two together and my head was either stuck in a Judy Bloom, Sweet Dreams or Sweet Valley High novel. As I got older, it was Danielle Steele or Virginia Andrews. I loved to read and every spare moment I got, I read about people falling in love and living happily ever after. I loved living in that bubble.

As I moved into the world of work, for some reason, reading was put on the back burner. Eighteen years later and I got my own happily ever after when I got married in 2012. With all the hype surrounding the “50 Shades of Grey” I decided to take the books on honeymoon with me and by god, my love for reading was resurrected. I got back from honeymoon and was so desperate to continue reading.... reading about love, romance and happily ever afters that since July of last year, I have managed to plough through over 80 contemporary romance novels. Yup, I just can’t seem to put a book down these days.
Unfortunately, my love for books all romantic, angsty and naughty are not shared with my friends so I have a million and one thoughts going on in my head when I finish a book but no one to share them with.... infuriating at times especially when the book has been full of angst, heart break or there is a huge cliff hanger!!!!!
This blog is about me expending my book energy and putting my thoughts and feelings about novels I have read onto paper and sharing these with like minded people. I truly hope that you find this blog as helpful and as enjoyable as I have found creating it.
Enjoy my fellow book worms and if you find a book that you just couldn’t put down, please do let me know so that I can also enjoy it too xxx

I am Kirsty, I'm 22 and live in Brighton. Around a year ago (roughly when I turned 21) I discovered a little series called Fifty Shades of Grey.. heard of it? I'm sure you have. I was 100% addicted to them and once I finished I was desperate for something remotely similar. I bought myself a Kindle and haven't looked back since.
I have since read over 200 books (yikes!) and have met some truly incredible people. This book world is one of the friendliest and I'm so happy to be a part of it. A couple of months ago I began to review books on Goodreads, I feel like it helps me move on from a book and get my feelings out. It's a win-win situation really!
I'm really happy to be a part of this blog and hope you all like and enjoy my reviews.
Feel free to add me on GR - www.goodreads.com/KirstyL13'

Hi my name is Jo and I'm seriously addicted to books, especially ones that involve a hot sexy male and a "happily ever after." I'm really just a sucker for a love story... can you tell? I used to read a lot during my school days but then life got in the way. However, last year I was introduced to Mr Grey (just like so many of you) and I was instantly drawn to this wonderful world of romantic novels.Over the last 15 months, I've read so many books and have a list as long as your arm of both favourite titles and authors. What I enjoy the most though, is being able to talk to fellow readers about what I've read, the plots, the characters, my new book boyfriends (much to the annoyance of my husband!!!) and future book releases and this blog really allows me to do just that.
I think that's all there is to know about me. Now I'm off to do some more reading!!!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI'm the author of a romance fiction series. I'd like to know if you'd be interested in reading and reviewing my book. The title: "A Silent Prayer: A Prayer Series I" is the winner of Best Romance in 2014 Los Angeles Book Festival and 2014 Paris Book Festival—and rated five stars by Readers' Favorite.
Set in the beautiful city of Toronto, this captivating and thrilling romance takes you to a romantic journey with Adam Gibson—a young and powerful businessman of Toronto—gifted by God with an altruistic soul but atheist by belief, who falls in love with a cursed soul and finds God—not through a miracle but the presence of demons around him.
It is an emotionally charged story of a young woman—Rania Ahmed, endowed with hypnotic beauty—a strong believer in God, who has lost hope she will ever find her soul mate but finds her safe harbor in an atheist.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI’m the author of the recently published, A Love Beyond Time. It’s a contemporary romance with a paranormal twist. So far I’ve had a positive reaction from readers. I’ve been told several times that the story is truly unique. A couple of reviewers have praised it for helping renew their faith in love. I would like for you to review it and see for yourself. Here’s a bit about the novel.
A Love Beyond Time
Power of Love Quartet: Book One
By Dante Craddock
True Love Makes Anything Possible.
It is the most powerful of all emotions, through its power even time can be transcended.
Ashley Brannock has always thought she was just an ordinary woman, like so many others. She has a loving boyfriend. A great job. She has everything she could have ever wanted. But she has always felt that something was missing. She’s never quite been able to pin down what it is. All she knows is that it’s been there her whole life.
Then the dream begins, throwing her life into total chaos. She must now find the answers to the dream. Why her? What is it showing her? The answers will open a whole new view of the world to her. This new view will reveal to her that love can go beyond time.
When two people fall in love they create a magic that is all their own. This magic has incredible power.
