Review: K.I. Lynn's "Breached (Breach #4)."

Synopsis:

My life was ash. Burned to the ground. Razed with no chance of rebuilding.

Empty.

Alone.

Just as I had to be.

No one else was going to get hurt because of me. No more deaths.

For years I’ve secluded myself, stayed in the darkness, and tried to melt into the background. Hiding in plain sight.

Taking a new job, working in close confines with a new partner, is risky, and I thought I was up to the task. So I hide behind a mask of my own making, a façade for the world.

The problem is, I can’t stop thinking about my new partner. I hate her, but I crave her like she’s the most intoxicating thing I’ve ever encountered.

It’s maddening, but I need to stay away. I have to stay away.

I can’t love anyone ever again.

Review: Jo

The "Breach" series is a top favourite of mine so when I discovered that Nathan was getting a book told from his POV, I could hardly wait for it to hit my kindle. Nathan Thorne has to be the most dirty-mouthed alpha from the book world and if you haven't yet met this gorgeous man, you are seriously missing out. Go, stop what you are doing and buy "Breach" today. This is a series that MUST be read in order to avoid major spoilers.

"She was nothing, no one, but she seemed a mystery I wanted to unravel."

As soon as I started to read this book, I became hooked and I quickly remembered how much love I have for this series and it's main couple, Nathan and Lila. I was also reminded of how damn hot Nathan Thorne was. All of the familiar feelings that were provoked first time around returned and I once again became addicted. K.I. Lynn did not let me down and has written a fantastic addition to a brilliant series. I relished having the opportunity to get inside Nathan's mind during the early days of his relationship with Lila. I adored how he quickly became crazy obsessed with his new partner. When it came to Lila, Nathan's passion and lust was uncontrollable and I loved it. I also felt my heart break all over again when I read of Nathan's sorrow, anxiety and self-hate. His brokenness was just another factor that made him so easy to fall in love with.

"She was everything I said and more, but we could never be more."

Nathan's POV did not disappoint. I loved it so much that I did not want it to end, so I was immediately listening to the audio-books of the series so far and have been listening throughout this entire weekend. I have once again become captivated by this amazing story.

"I couldn't escape her if I tried. Somehow I was always meant to find her."

"Breached" gets 5 hearts from me.

About the Author:

K.I. Lynn is the USA Today Bestselling Author from The Bend Anthology and the Amazon Bestselling Series, Breach. She spent her life in the arts, everything from music to painting and ceramics, then to writing. Characters have always run around in her head, acting out their stories, but it wasn’t until later in life she would put them to pen. It would turn out to be the one thing she was really passionate about.

Since she began posting stories online, she’s garnered acclaim for her diverse stories and hard hitting writing style. Two stories and characters are never the same, her brain moving through different ideas faster than she can write them down as it also plots its quest for world domination…or cheese. Whichever is easier to obtain… Usually it’s cheese.
