Why we loved Kristen Ashley's "Deacon" so much:
Despite being a little different to the other books in this series, I still loved everything about this story.  From the minute I was introduced to Deacon, I felt my heart start beating faster and harder, and the further I read, the more excited and giddy I got. This was another fantastic addition to the "Unfinished Heroes" series.

Why we thought Tillie Cole's "A Thousand Boy Kisses" was a standout read:
"One Thousand Boy Kisses" was a book full of cherished moments and memories. Rune and Poppy's journey was one that was raw and beautiful, brave and inspirational and definitely thought provoking. I doubt my heart will ever fully recover from this one.

A.Merdith Walters "One Day Soon" made our list because:
This was a book I quite literally inhaled in one day, only coming up for air when I absolutely had to. It had all the hallmarks of a signature A Meredith Walters book and if you as big a fan of this author as I am, you'll know exactly what I mean by that.  Yoss and Imi's story was unpredictable and unconventional. It was thought provoking and it was poignant. I don't think my heart has ever hurt so much when reading a book.

Keith Stuart's "A Boy made of Blocks" was one of our favourites because:
I'm a romance reader through and through and that is really all I've read for the last three years. However, when I read the synopsis for "A Boy made of Blocks," there was just something about Alex's story that said "Read me. You won't be disappointed" and I was right. This book was different but so  brilliant. It was captivating, addictive, poignant and absolutely life affirming.

Why Emma Scott's "Full Tilt (Full Tilt #1)" was a standout read:
Throughout this wondrous story so many things shone through- Joy, happiness, courage, hope, trust but above all else there was love. Beautiful, awe-inspiring, made-my-heart-soar love. "Full Tilt" is a novel that is not to be missed and I implore you to add it to your TBR's today.

Why Raine Miller's "Filthy Rich" was one of our top favourites of the year:
I absolutely loved this first book in "The Blackstone Dynasty" series. "Filthy Rich" made me feel everything that a good romance should. I swooned my way through this story from beginning to end. It was a joy to read. If you love books that are deliciously swoony and sexy, this needs to be on your kindle.
