Wow!! This book was so damn good! Connor's story was easily my favourite of the series so far. I absolutely loved every single thing about it and as such, I read it in less than a day. I could not stop reading. I was well and truly hooked on Connor and Alina. "Perfect Rage" was a story that in one breath pulled at my heart strings, and in another made my heart leap for joy. A beautiful story that was impossible not to fall in love with.
"She was now my addiction. My craving. My need."
By the time I had read the first eight percent of this book, I knew that Connor was a book boyfriend that was created to steal my heart. If you love an alpha, you will fall head over heels for him. I loved every inch of that man. He ticked all of my boxes. Sexy..protective..devoted...domineering...and also broken. You gotta love a tortured soul! Nashoda Rose always delivers when it comes to hot male characters and Connor was at the top of the list for me.
"His kiss was starved, unforgiving and cruel like what we'd both been dealt in life.
But it was real and within the bruising kiss, it was beauty."
I also loved Alina and I was so happy that she met Connor, unfortunately the happiness didn't last for her as she was faced with so many awful situations. I admired Alina for not giving up on Connor and I was relieved that her love for him always stayed strong. Connor had met his soulmate with Alina and I loved the scenes that they shared. My heart hurt for everything that Alina had to go through and I found myself devouring the pages hoping that she would be able to fix Connor's broken pieces.
"Wherever you go, the pieces of me are in you, Connor. They'll never leave."
This story was one that gripped me from the very beginning. I was on the edge of my seat, hoping and praying that things would work out for Connor and Alina. Luckily, they had a lot of support from the other characters in the series and I was reminded of how loyal they all were to each other. I loved seeing the part that they all played in this story. It proved just how strong the bond was between the gang of friends.
As a fan of this series, I was so excited to get started on this book and Nashoda did not let me down. If you have been following this series, you will not be disappointed with Connor and Alina. It was truly an unmissable instalment of the series.
