How did I not know how gorgeous Colin Sloan was??? Out of all of the Sloan brothers that I've met so far, I think he may just be my favourite, and he had a back story that broke my heart. Like all of his family, Colin had been through tough times but he was the one that had struggled to cope the most. Colin had now turned over a new leaf and was no longer the bad boy that he once was, however Colin's troubled past was starting to affect the one area that wasn't that great; his love life. 

She's held up the stop sign on dating. But don't tell a man who wants to climb Everest 

that he can't do it. Nothing will motivate him more. Elle was his Everest.

Throughout her life, Elle had also been through more lows than highs, but she was determined to build a better future for herself. I really liked Elle, she was sweet and caring and I loved that her hobby was roller-skating, it just seemed so much fun. I found it easy to understand Elle's reservations and concerns when it came to Colin. Taking a leap of faith with him was something that she found extremely difficult to do, but I was willing Elle to take that leap and listen to her heart rather than her head. She deserved a good man in her life. 

He was a line she couldn't cross. He was a risk she couldn't let herself take. 

I was rooting for Colin from the very start of this book. I wanted him to be rewarded for getting his life back on track and overcoming his difficulties. It was crystal clear how much he cared for Elle and I desperately wanted his feelings to be reciprocated. Out of all of his brothers, he was the one that I felt needed love and support the most and Elle had a heart big enough to do just that. I loved watching Colin and Elle together, they made one another so happy. Of course, as this was a Lauren Blakely story, I knew that there would be some hot scenes between the pair and boy was I right. Colin and Elle were sizzling together. This author sure can write some smokin' hot sex scenes!! 

This was way more than fucking. It was fucking and falling at the same damn time, 

and nothing-no drug, no drink, no high-flying parachute dive-had ever felt as good 

as coming together with the woman he desired madly. Coming together...and falling apart.

This was another fabulous instalment to the series which continues to be filled with drama, suspense and a whole lot of romance. As this series is coming to an end, I saw the plot beginning to open up with the addition of new characters and a few unexpected twists thrown in. The ending was also a complete surprise and has left me wandering about what's in store for the final book. I can't help but feel that there is danger on the horizon for the Sloan family. I thoroughly enjoyed "Sinful Longing." If you have been following this series don't miss Colin and Elle's story. You are going to love it! 

There was no love gone wrong here. It was only right, only true, only real.
