Blog Tour: Laurelin McGee's "Miss Match."

Blog Tour: Laurelin McGee's "Miss Match."

Synopsis:

Welcome to the sexy, crazy, wildly unpredictable world of modern matchmaking, where fixing up strangers is part of the job—but falling in love is an occupational hazard…

He's The Perfect Catch.

Blake Donovan is tall, handsome, rich, and successful—so why would a guy like him need a matchmaker? Andrea Dawson has no idea, but a job is a job. After being blackballed from a career in marketing, Andrea agreed to use her unique profiling skills to play matchmaker out of pure desperation. But when she meets her highly eligible—and particular—first client face to face, she wonders what she’s gotten herself into…

Is She His Perfect Match?

Blake knows exactly the kind of woman he’s looking for—and it’s the total opposite of Andrea. Though smart and undeniably sexy, she is simply too headstrong for a man who’s used to being in charge. Still, Blake’s blood pressure rises whenever she’s near him. How can he explain the smoldering attraction that sizzles between them? And how can Andrea deny she’s feeling it, too? Maybe, just maybe, they’ve finally met their match…

Review-Jo

I love Laurelin Paige's work so reading this new collaboration with Katyi McGee was a given. I couldn't wait to start "Miss Match" and just as I thought, I was not disappointed. As soon as I realised what it was all about I became excited about what was to come and I was interested to see how the story would play out. I just knew that this was a book that I would love. It was sweet, funny and extremely sexy and it was well worth the read.

Blake Donovan, on first impression, was a stern, arrogant and pompous man. He didn't believe in love, but he wanted a wife purely to satisfy both his business and sexual needs. Essentially, all he wanted was some eye candy for his arm. Of course, I was a little put off by Blake yet at the same time I had hope that my feelings for him would change with the continuation of the story. Thankfully, I soon discovered that Blake had some good qualities just waiting to emerge, he just needed a little encouragement to show everyone how lovely he truly was. By the end of the story, I had fallen hard for Blake. It was impossible not to.

I am in love with Andrea Dawson. Completely, utterly, undeniably in love.

I loved Andrea's character. She was fun, strong and feisty. The complete opposite of Blake. When Andrea first met Blake there was an initial attraction towards him but once she realised what a cold and pretentious man he was, she soon changed her mind. However the more time Andrea spent with Blake, the more she got to see the real man, and the attraction towards her boss bloomed.

Was she Blake Donovan's match? She'd been into him, consumed with him,
but she'd never quite believed that they were actually good together.
Not long term. But maybe they were.

I adored watching Andrea and Blake's relationship change throughout this story. Andrea had turned Blake's world upside down. He was suddenly re-thinking his idea of the perfect woman and he found that Andrea was increasingly becoming the girl for him with each day they spent together. Once cupid had struck his bow in this couple's direction there was no escaping the L word . Andrea and Blake turned out to be the perfect match. They made a great couple and the sex between the pair was smokin' hot!! Who knew that the conceited CEO could turn out to be such a sexy guy!

"You're lips are heaven on my cock, but keep doing that, and I'm going to come.
 And I already made a reservation in your pussy that I intend to keep."

Although Andrea and Blake were perfect for one another there were still a few upsets in their relationship. During the last part of the book, I found myself franticly tearing through the pages to find out what would happen between the couple. Something happened that made my tummy do somersaults and my palms to sweat. I was so worried about the outcome of the story. I really wanted Andrea and Blake to get their fairytale ending and if they didn't get one, I think I would have cried! lol.

"Andy Dawson, you are everything I never knew I wanted.
You are more than ideal-you're my perfect match"

I rated "Miss Match" ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excerpt:  Chapter One

Personal Concierge, to start ASAP (Boston Area)

I am a successful businessman looking for a wife. Due to a busy career and lack of energy or interest to devote to the process, I am seeking someone to assist me in my search. I am outsourcing the entire process, job to start immediately.

The perfect candidate will be assertive, with excellent computer skills and a knack for reading people. She—I am only seeking women to fill this position—will be expected to:

• Meet me, get to know me. Spend a week or so in my company to find out my interests, what makes me tick. During this time she will come to understand the type of woman I expect to fall in love with;

• Do all searching activities on my behalf including online, in real life, on social media, networking, and so on;

• Once possible matches are identified, provide me with pictures and, upon my approval, arrange dates for us to meet.

I am attractive and financially secure. I do not have trouble finding women who are interested in me. It is finding women that I deem interesting beyond the physical that is the challenge.

While this job can be done at home, I’d prefer that several hours a week be spent in my company in order to keep a firm handle on what I expect in a love interest. I will have private space available in both my home and office for the right person to work.

Income will be determined initially by the experiences the candidate brings to this project. Additional income will depend on the quality of women found to date me as well as how far the relationship(s) progresses—both emotionally and physically. We can discuss a specific payment schedule during the interview process.

Serious inquiries only.
