I loved, loved, loved this book but, boy, did it make me cry! "Always You" is the beautiful story of Wrenn and Dalton.
Wrenn had been through some tough times in her life and was living with her Auntie and Uncle. She was in the final few weeks of school, a school that she had never fitted into and as such couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.That was until her new history teacher walked into class...yup Dalton most definitely caught the attention of not only her but half the girls in school and let's just say, school suddenly got mighty interesting!
"He was my teacher, he was five years older than me, and more than that, he was hot,
sexy and capable of getting any girl he wanted. Why would he be interested in me?"
Dalton was a good looking, newly qualified teacher who thought he was ready to face the challenge of teaching a room full of teenage girls. He thought wrong! All those hormonal girls crushing on him didn't make life easy but there was one that stood out... one that got his attention: Wrenn.

When Wrenn and Dalton first met, the attraction was strong and they found themselves drawn to one another. There was definitely a connection, one that should have been ignored... he was her teacher after all. But the more time spent together, the harder it became. Could Wrenn and Dalton have a relationship and keep it a secret? They were about to begin a dangerous game!

I loved Wrenn and Dalton. They were both brilliant characters. My heart broke for Wrenn and all she had been through. Her story truly bought tears to my eyes. Her world had completely changed and I admired her for her strength and her ability to continue on with her life. She never complained or looked for sympathy, she just got on with things.
Dalton captured my heart. I loved how he took care of Wrenn, how he treated her and how he was determined to put their relationship first before anything else, even his career. As the story continued and I learnt more about Dalton I found myself falling for him even more. Throughout the story, it was clear that he was keeping something from Wrenn, but I wasn't sure what. Eventually I discovered his secret. This is when the tears started and they just didn't stop. My heart went out to Dalton. This was yet another complication for him and Wrenn. Life just didn't seem fair.
Next year we could truly be together. Our relationship could be real,
and not hidden behind lies and secrets. When I thought about Wrenn, I saw my future
as bright and full of possibilities. But there was one thing in my way. I needed to tell her.
As a couple, Dalton and Wrenn were perfect for one another. There was so much passion and intensity between them leading to some very hot scenes. I found myself rooting for this couple, praying that nothing would come between them. I didn't want anything to wreck their beautiful romance.

So, as you may have already gathered, I loved this story. I found it to be breathtakingly beautiful but truly heartbreaking at the same time. The writing was so good it melted my heart. I enjoyed that the chapters were written from either Wrenn or Dalton's perspective, it was so much easier to understand the characters that way. I was well and truly lost in this book, I made the mistake of starting it just before my bedtime and there was no way I was going to sleep before I'd read every single page. I could not my kindle down!
"Always You" is a book I would most definitely recommend but get the Kleenex ready. You may need them! 5 beautiful hearts for "Always You".
