Emily tries to deny the instant connection she feels, but Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome is not inclined to let go so easily. Blog Tour Review: Jo Rushton

Why didn't anyone tell me how amazing the Collide series was?? I feel like shouting from the rooftops to everyone to read this freaking awesome series by Gail McHugh!! I don't think I'll be able to pick up another book until my emotions have settled down. This book definitely took me on one hell of a rollercoaster ride.

"Collide" is seriously addictive and once I start reading, I couldn't eat, sleep or do anything because I was so captivated. My advice (if you pick this book up) is make sure there are no distractions and you have the time to devour it.

The story focused around three main characters, Dillon, Gavin and Emily. It was a love triangle that really gripped  me from the start.

Emily was moving to New York to be closer to her boyfriend Dillon following the death of her Mother. Dillon was the worst boyfriend ever! He was a total A-hole! The way he treated her was just awful. Emily was a really nice girl and Dillon used that to his advantage. He controlled and manipulated her, unfortunately Emily  too blind to see what he was doing. She always saw the good believing that  loved her.

Upon moving to New York, Emily got herself a job at a restaurant. One of her errands was to deliver lunch to Gavin Blake at his office. The minute they met, there was an instant connection, sparks definitely flew. Gavin felt it and made it his mission to find out who Emily was, desperate to pursue this woman.

Emily fought the attraction believing that she owed Dillon. She couldn't be unfaithful.

The love triangle between the three continued as I progressed through the book, getting more and more intense, drawing me in and leaving me wanting more. The story between Gavin and Emily is was so passionate I was desperate for them to work out.

"I want you to give in to what I see behind your eyes every time I'm near you. I want you to give in to the way you trembled in my arms when I touched you, the way your breathing becomes faster when I look at you...Are you going to pretend you don't feel anything for me Emily?"

Gavin refused to give up on the crazy love he felt for Emily. It made me a little jealous of Emily, she was one lucky woman! Gavin Blake just  oozed sex appeal and I definitely fell in love with his "shmexy" ways and his bottle caps!

" ...he was that good looking. Take your breath away good looking. Want to strip your
body naked and let him devour you alive good looking. Certified eye candy good looking."

This story is hot, passionate, heart breaking and addictive. When "Collide" finishes make sure you have "Pulse" ready to read because it ends on an almighty cliff hanger!.
Collide got 5 hearts from me!
