Synopsis:
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...
I've hated Rachel Dawson since I was seven years old. My next door neighbor and number one sworn enemy, she's the reason why almost all of our childhood fights ended with me setting something of hers on fire. (Or, vice versa.)
She snitched on me when I broke curfew.
I snitched on her when she lied about having a boyfriend.
We went back and forth like this throughout high school, both vowing to never talk to each other again when we went off to college.
But that was until she showed up at my apartment during my senior year and asked me for a temporary place to stay. Until I realized just how much between us had changed, and the line I thought we'd never cross became harder and harder to ignore...
Review: Jo
This book ticked so many of my boxes. I loved the premise of story, loved the angst and the love/hate relationship of the couple and I adored how everything all played out in the end. It was another enjoyable read from Whitney G.
"You know, I'm starting to think that our friendship was never fake.
I'm also starting to think that we've never really been enemies."
The story that played out between Ethan and Rachel was an enemies to lovers romance that was filled with angsty dialogue that kept me engaged and had me excited for what lay ahead for Rachel and Ethan. I loved how the pair had known each other since children and enjoyed how the story went from past to present, filling me in on the important parts of Rachel and Ethan's story so far. This couple had so much promise, I couldn't wait to see how their romance would play out and as I turned the final pages, I wasn't disappointed. I'm now off to click the extended epilogue as I just can't get enough off this couple and their HEA.
"I love you, Rachel Dawson,
and I've loved you since I was seven and a half years old."
If you are looking for a quick, cute and entertaining read, this one could be for you. Forget You, Ethan gets ❤️❤️❤️❤️ from me.
