Synopsis:

A new standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author, JA Huss, and Actor/Screenwriter, Johnathan McClain.

EDEN

I’m just a simple girl who likes dessert. And sexy men. And social media. So starting an anonymous video channel called The Sexpert as a side hustle to make up for my low-paying marketing job at Le Man Magazine seemed like a perfectly sensible career decision. Until we went viral, my boss accused my anonymous personality of stealing his idea, and now my super sexy new boyfriend, Andrew, is out to get me.

Her. Me. Whatever.

ANDREW

I don’t want it to be her. I do not want this… sweet, delicious, shy social media nerd working at my best friend’s magazine to be the face behind those perky cupcakes on the Sexpert channel. I don’t want it to be her… because I like her. A lot. She’s funny, and quirky, and smart, and creative… and… I really, really like her. It just can’t be her.

But it is.
And now I have to choose.
My best friend?
Or… The Sexpert?

"The Sexpert" is the fifth addition to the collaborative works of JAHuss and Johnathan McClain and really does reflect that there is no stopping this duo when it comes to giving us readers fresh story lines that we just eat up!!! "The Sexpert" was a standalone romantic comedy that was fast paced and laugh out loud hilarious. We've seen JA Huss's humour come out in most of her solo books and often in the darkest of moments, she has made us grin like cheshire cats!!! Then there is Johnathan McClain who gave us a taster of his wit when he wrote Tyler Morgan's POV in the "Original Sin" series. Put these two together and give them a romcom to write and they took on the challenge and gave us a story that was entertaining from the first page to the last. Eden and Andrew's story was light hearted for the most part and was jam packed full of mischief, mayhem, situational humour and banter that made my cheeks hurt from all the laughing I did.

Andrew and Eden were two characters who (at first glance) couldn't have been more opposite. However, the more I got to know them, (I discovered), the more alike they were. It became very apparent that these two really struggled with their identity and really struggled in terms of trying to fit in and be (what others would perceive as) normal. I (however) was completely enamoured by the couple. They were cute and clever and completely dorkish and so funny all at the same time and for me, they were a perfect match. They were so well suited it was untrue.

This was the first book in what I'm hoping will become a series based around the "Tall, Dark and Handsome" neighbourhood of Denver. Trust me there are some real hotties about that deserve to have their stories told. Two secondary characters who played petty big roles in this book were Pierce and of course Myrtle and if you're anything like me, you'll at least want to see this pair get a book. They have truly piqued my interest and I really want to delve deeper into their dynamics and hopefully see love blossom!!!

Anyhow, that's it from me. If you're looking for a cute, funny read with adorable characters, then give "The Sexpert" a go!! This one gets 4 ❤️ 's from me.
