Oh my heart....What a story!!! Time and time again, Emma Scott has always delivered stories that have amazed me, but this duet was outstanding. A phenomenal love story that in my opinion is Emma's best work to date. Absolute perfection. Weston, Connor and Autumn's tale of friendship, love and loyalty owned my heart throughout every single chapter. I don't think any words that I write in this review will be adequate enough to explain how beautiful this duet was.

After the way book one ended, I was desperate to find out how the remainder of the duet would play out. I was also hopeful that things would take a turn in the direction I so much wanted for Weston. I had been rooting for the underdog of the story since the first page. What I got though, was so much more emotional than I was expecting, as I saw the effects of what had happened to Autumn, Connor and Weston. From then on the story that continued was a story that was at times beautiful and at other times it was heartbreaking, but there was also moments that were just magical, and I couldn't help but wonder what if things had been different from the very beginning. It's so difficult to write this review and avoid spoilers at the the same time, but what I will say is that from the ashes of the past came a love that was breathtaking. A love that was palpable. I could feel it with every turn of the page. The first kiss that was shared in this instalment blew me away. If there was an award for best kiss in a novel 2018, this kiss gets my vote. It was everything!!

"Yes, I've been looking for you my entire life."
The journey that the characters went on in this duet was something that captured my heart. As per usual, with Emma Scott the writing was truly magnificent. And as for the poetry that was sprinkled throughout this novel, each and every one was something special and I wanted to read each one at least twice. Emma Scott, you have kept me spellbound with your talent. For me, you are the queen in emotional, heart-wrenching romance. My heart is full of love for this series and I implore everyone to one-click my most favourite book of the year so far.

If I could give a million hearts to this novel, I would. It deserves so much more than the ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
