Review-Jo

I'm his most prized possession. And it's a title I'm thrilled to have.
It's also a burden I'm willing to shoulder.

One of the things that I've loved about this series is that I haven't had to wait long between each book. This meant the events of "Denied" were still fresh in my memory so there was no need for a re-read, thus being able to get stuck straight in....back in to the world of Livy and Miller. I was so excited to get my fix and couldn't wait to see what was in store for this beautiful couple.

Now, to my absolute surprise, the first part of this story was a lot calmer than I expected it to be. After the cliffhanger I was left with at the end of the previous book, I expected a whole lot of trouble. I was actually quite relieved and found myself enjoying the blissful, romantic scenes involving Livy and Miller. I was pulled into their dreamy bubble as they escaped some of the constant havoc that seemed to follow them where ever the went. It was a delight to see the couple having some time together and I was swooning my way through every page.

"You are my soul, Olivia Taylor. You are my light.
You are my reason to breathe. Don't ever doubt that."

I knew that it was impossible for the calmness to last and I knew that things were going to get crazy at some point. It was inevitable but until that happened, I was going to sit back, relax and enjoy every single adorable moment. However, there did come a point where I found myself becoming impatient. With each new chapter I could feel the anticipation building. Jodi kept me waiting for quite some time, it was past half way before the pace of the story really began to pick up. Finally I began to get some answers to what was going on.

"Only your love will see me through this hell."

After this point the pace really did pick up and so much happened. The long wait was definitely worth it because the last part of the story was brilliant. I was finally starting to slot the pieces of the Livy and Miller puzzle together. Secrets were exposed and I was blown away by some of the things that happened.

Livy is the only good thing that's happened to me, and I have no intention of letting go of her.

Once again, I found myself falling head over heels for Mr Hart. In my eyes this man could no wrong. During the series, my heart has gone out to him on many occasions and this book was no exception. I was yet again feeling so much pain for him and for what he had been subjected to and what had made him into the man he now was. . I can now reflect on how much progress Miller has made and how much he has changed for Livy. There was a time when I really wanted to punch Miller in the face but not anymore. Miller Hart has truly stolen my heart.

I didn't think there was someone out there who was capable of really loving me,
I didn't think there was someone out there who defied everything I knew.
Then I found Olivia Taylor.

Over the series I have also loved watching Livy's character develop. How much love has changed her. The main thing that I noticed in this book was that Livy was even more feisty. She was determined to do anything she could to fight for her love. Livy's fierce passion was sometimes helpful but on some occasions I thought that she was going about things in the wrong way. I feared that she would make things one hundred times worse but there was no stopping her. She was a girl on a mission!

As always, Nan didn't let me down. I have enjoyed getting to know her so well and I regard her charcter with such warm affection. I am going to miss her :-(. I loved the scenes between her and Miller. It was lovely to see her truly bond with him in this final part of the series. Miller could win any woman's heart and he had definitely won Nan's.

I don't want to say anything else about this story with fear of spoiling it for you all. You need to read it for yourself. The conclusion to the series was, in my opinion, pure perfection. I don't think Jodi could have given the series a better ending. It was a beautiful way to finish up what has been another fantastic series. By the time I had reached the very last page, my heart had melted into a big puddle and I was more in love with Livy and Miller than ever before.

"You are all I see. Day or night, I see only you."
