Synopsis:
Twenty-three year old, Kamryn Cunningham has left all she’s ever known and moved to a small town where no one knows her name, who her parents are, or her social status in the horseracing world. Months after opening her own bakery and evading attempts of being set up by her new best friend, she meets Brody. Kamryn fights the instant pull between them because there’s a detail she can’t dismiss. Brody’s married.
To say that twenty-six year old, Brody Saco has had a rough marriage would be an understatement. After marrying his pregnant girlfriend, he spends the next six years in a relationship filled with hatred, manipulation and guilt involving a tragedy that happened five years earlier. When he keeps running into his sister-in-law’s best friend, Kamryn, he can’t ignore that she makes him feel more with just one look than his wife ever has; and soon he can’t continue fight his feelings for her.
When staying apart proves to be too difficult, Brody and Kamryn enter a relationship full of stolen moments and nights that end too soon while they wait for Brody to file for divorce. But the guilt that comes with their relationship may prove to be too much for Kamryn, and Brody might not be strong enough to face the tragedy from his past in order to leave his conniving wife.
Review-Jo Rushton
I have a love/hate relationship with love triangles. Sometimes they drive me nuts to the point where I want to throw my kindle at the wall and other times I love them like crazy. Thankfully with "Sharing You" I felt the latter. I loved this story so much!!
I'd just found a man who changed everything I'd ever known....
I realized I'd found the one thing in life I would never be able to have.
Most people would look at Kamryn and think she had it all, I mean she was surrounded by wealth and had never wanted for anything. However, she hated it and she hated the status that went with it. No longer able to live in a world she didn't want to be a part of, Kamryn made the brave decision to leave it all behind and start afresh. She wanted to make a new life for herself, a life where she could be happy and be comfortable enough to be herself.
I admired her character. She was sweet, funny and caring and despite having money, her wealth had not spoiled her in anyway. Leaving a life of luxury took guts. She was all alone in a new town with no friends but her determination paid off. Kamryn was now happy and accomplishing her dream of owning a cute little cake shop. (Now I know why Molly posts on social media about "Mondays suck so throw a cupcake!"). Everyone that met Kamryn loved her and so did I!
For the first time in my life, I was exactly where I wanted to be.
Brody was living a miserable life. He was married to Olivia who I just did not like at all. She was a bitch and made Brody's life hell. My heart truly went out to him because he was trapped in a loveless marriage. The minute Kamryn walked into his life though, everything changed. Brody had a reason to smile! Yay!!
"I've never felt as alive as I do when I'm with you.
And even when I'm not, I feel like I finally have something to live for again."
When Kamryn and Brody first met there was no ignoring the chemistry between them. They were obsessed with each other from the very first moment their eyes met. It truly was love at first sight.
This was fairy-tale shit, this kind of thing didn't happen in real life.
How nice it would have been if they could have just lived happily ever after together from that moment on!! But that would have been boring, right? They had the small problem of Brody's marriage to take into account. But would that stop Kamryn and Brody? Hell no! Their feelings for each other were just so intense. It was simply impossible.
Brody promised Kamryn that he would file for a divorce and until then they would take things slow. Like that was going to happen! This pair were all over each other, every chance they got. It was hot. It was passionate. It was scandalous. And I loved it!! All of their sneaking around brought a whole lot of excitement to the story. My heart was beating so fast, I was sure that it was going to jump out of my chest!
"This is crazy,"
"I'll be right there with you through all the crazy."
Together, Kamryn and Brody faced a mountain of problems. If they had any chance of having a real relationship together there were a lot of hurdles to tackle, especially for Brody. This was where I began to get frustrated with the characters. Things just kept getting worse and it felt like the couple were never going to get their happy ending. Brody needed to wake up and smell the coffee. He needed to realize what a manipulating wife he had and he needed to keep his promise to Kamryn to file for a divorce.
"One day...one day we won't have to do this anymore.
I'll come home to you, and get in our bed and never leave. I swear."
And poor Kamryn was just getting her heart ripped out. She was giving everything to the relationship but getting very little in return. I wanted her to be strong, to put herself first. The affair was killing her and something needed to change. If Brody truly loved Kamryn he needed to prove it. I wanted to jump into the book and give both Kamryn and Brody a damn good shake! As you can probably tell, I was felt quite angry in parts of this book.
I was taken on an emotional roller-coaster full of many ups and downs whilst reading "Sharing You" and I loved it. I felt like I was right there with the characters, sharing their feelings and living their life. It was an addictive read that's for sure. If I had to put my kindle down for a moment, I found myself rushing back to it, I couldn't wait to see what happened next.
I didn't know how much longer I could handle all the guilt,
secrets and days alone wishing for things to be different.
Once again Molly has written another brilliant story. Amazing writing, great characters and a fabulous plot. A winning combination. Molly is one of my favorite authors. Ever since reading "Taking Chances" her books are ones I can always rely on. She never disappoints!
"Sharing You" was a stand alone novel so no nasty cliff-hangers to worry about. If you love a good love triangle then I would definitely recommend this one! Happy Reading :-)
"Sharing You" gets 5 Brilliant Hearts from me!
