Synopsis

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Review-Jo Rushton

OMG!! I freaking loved this book. As a fan of the Christina Lauren's "Beautiful" series, I couldn't wait to read this book and I wasn't disappointed. This was another fabulous and fun story from two amazing authors.

The story is set around Mia and her two best friends heading to Vegas to celebrate their graduation. I loved these girls right from the start, they were lively, excitable and out to have some fun. I was reminded of the girly holidays I'd had and what a giggle you can have with your best friends. It made me want to jump into the pages and join the girls on their trip!

So Mia arrived in Vegas and at the same time so did Ansel, along with his own group of friends. Ladies meet Ansel... part American-part French, sexy, confident and a total flirt. He was the kind of guy that could make a girl go weak at the knee's, especially when he said his naughty french words! Oh my! "Sweet Filthy Boy" is definitely one I would love to hear on audio book!

Mia and Ansel eyes locked across a crowded Vegas nightclub and you can guess what happened next!

Being a performer, I've seen magic like his before. He may look like any other human,
but he has that elusive quality that would force every pair of eyes to track him on stage,
no matter how small his role. it's more charisma-it's a magnetism that can't be
taught or practiced. I'm only two feet away from him...I don't stand a chance.

The couple shared an extremely hot and passion filled night but what happened the next morning took me by complete surprise. Mia and Ansel's one night stand might just lead to something more. Woo Hoo!!!

What is it about another person's chemistry that makes you feel more or less drawn to them?
With Ansel, I feel like my heartbeat is chasing his."

These two made a fabulous couple especially with the very obvious chemistry they shared.. Mia found herself trusting this man with her secrets and her fears, completely opening up to him. In terms of Ansel, despite initially coming across as cocky and very sure of himself, the more I got to know him the more discovered there was more to him than the flirtatious, cheeky man I was first introduced to in Vegas. Ansel became this sweet, gentle and caring guy who was falling crazy in love with Mia. Lucky girl!

"I just want to make love to you all day. I don't want to think about work
or friends or even eating. I want to exist on you alone."

As always with these things, falling in love is never simple and the couple had their fair share of ups and downs whilst they were getting to know each other. The question was, would they stick with it?

"What you feel, Cerise? I feel it, too. Fuck, Mia, I feel everything for you."

I fell in love with this story from the first page, it's characters pulling me in and I was completely hooked. This was such a  fun read and I'm sure I had a huge smile on my face for the majority of it, even laughing out loud at some of the conversations between the characters. Sometimes it's a relief to take a break from all of the angst filled stories and read something that will brighten up your day. This book did that for me. It was a sexy, fun and romantic read you couldn't fail to love. And Mia and Ansel truly captured my heart.

If you haven't yet read anything from Christina Lauren then you are truly missing out. Their books are hot, sexy and are brilliantly written and "Sweet Filthy Boy" is no exception. The only down side, for me, is that it ended all too soon. Bring on book two " Dirty Rowdy Thing" . I can't wait!  Although this is the first book in a series it can be read as a stand alone.
"Sweet Filthy Boy" gets 5 naughty French hearts from me!

Author Bio / Social Media

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
