.I loved everything about this deliciously fun quick read and once I started, I couldn't put this book down. If you have a couple of hours to spare and are looking for a light hearted sexy little number to get stuck into, then this for you! "Destry" was a real gem!
"Destry" was a smoking hot cowboy living with his equally hot brothers and his baby sister. He was the eldest of the brothers and definitely had all the attributes to make him the leader of the pack. He was strong, stubborn and very sexy but underneath his brooding ways he was a big softy at heart. Damn!! Why don't we have any hot cowboys here in the UK?!!
"Sweet, baby Jesus. He was hot! Not just hot, but mess-your-panties devastatingly hot."
Amelia was a city girl, who was bought up to become a stepford wife, marry for money rather then love, her future was all mapped out for her. However this was not the life that she wanted so what did she do? She got in her car and drove off into the sunset in search of a new life. Fate definitely took a hand in putting a cow in the middle of a road she was travelling down because said cow brought her face to face with Destry!!! The chemistry between this couple was sizzling and when they got down and dirty... OMG was it hot!!! I found Amelia to be an instantly likeable character. She was fun loving and sassy:
"This girl I'd pegged as a snotty city chick had surprised me at every turn,
and with her lying in my arm, I realised I was in deep....and I was perfectly all right with it."
So Destry and Amelia were a fab time romping around the ranch together and falling crazy in love but could it last between the city girl and the sexy cowboy? Was life on the ranch enough for a would be stepford wife? Well, you will just have to read and find out.

"Destry" is a definite feel good kind of book that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait to read the next book in the Rough and Hard series. This story ended with a bit of a surprise that I was not expecting involving one Destry's brothers, so I'm assuming that it will be his story next. This is my first "Lola Stark" book and I am looking forward to reading more from this author. I'm off to find a cowboy!!

“Needed a swim?” she asked in a husky voice. My eyes snapped up when I realized I’d bean staring for far too long. I couldn’t be blamed though; she had the nicest set of boobs I’d ever seen.
“Somethin’ like that,” I ground out when she took another step toward me, leaving nothing more than a few inches of space between us. She slowly slid her tongue across her lips.
