Dazed is a Connections Series Novella but it not necessary to read Connected and Torn prior to reading this. Also it has a beginning, a middle, and an end :)

This book was actually pretty good for a novella. I know that sounds harsh, but I think it's so hard to find a novella that really packs a punch. I usually find there's just not enough information and story for it to be good. This isn't the best novella I've ever read, but I did end up really enjoying it.
Going in to this book I had completely forgotten about who all of these characters were. I vaguely recognised the names (particularly of Aerie) but I couldn't have told you too much about them. Luckily, that didn't matter. Kim Karr makes sure that you are fully introduced to each character and you know exactly who they are in the series.
I really enjoyed both the characters in this book. Aerie and Jagger have both been through stuff in past relationships that makes them wary of starting anything new, but they can't deny the attraction they both feel for each other. I loved the build up to their relationship. Of course, being a novella, we can't have anything too slow otherwise it wouldn't fit in, but I am pleased to say that the relationship between Aerie and Jagger wasn't rushed at all. It was all perfectly timed and thought out.

One thing I have to give Kim Karr credit for in particular is her ability to make me fall for the male characters in her stories. Of course in the first two books I fell hard for River (and even Ben a little at times) and reading about Jagger in this story was no different. Jagger, like his cousin, River, was kind, fun, sexy and romantic. Everything you would want in a book boyfriend.
If you are a big fan of the Connection series I don't think there's any reason why you wouldn't enjoy this next instalment. I rated "Dazed" 4 Hearts
