Full length STANDALONE novel continuing Jade & Ryder's story in the Scorpions MC.
So this was the first full length novel in the Scorpions MC series and holy buggery was it just a little bit hawt!!! As you know, with the prequel novella entitled "Ryder "Scorpions MC 0.5)," we got a lot of background information, a lot of scene setting and we sure as hell got to know the characters as individuals. Jade and Ryder hadn't started off on the best foot, in fact there was an intense dislike for one another but as the story progressed we saw the connection develop into something more. There was definitely a physical attraction there but how long would they fight it? Well, let's just say the novella ended with the mother of all sex scenes and I was left desperate for more from this couple.
Well lucky me, because "Two Worlds Colliding" started exactly where the first book finished and I got so much more naughtiness... like toe curling naughtiness I needed to read in the privacy of my own home. Ryder had got a taste of Jade and wasn't about to let her go... and he always got what he wanted:
"How bad do you want this bitch?"
"Bad. Give both my balls bad."
"Christ, you're fucked."
"Yeah, I know."
But Jade was a little bit more cautious. She looked at the bigger picture and knew that there was just too much going against them... too many external forces ready to tear them apart. They were from two different worlds.... she was a lawyer, he was a biker who belonged to an MC which dabbled in the criminal underworld and add to that their friends and their families.... it just seemed an impossibility.
"Two World's Colliding" definitely focused on the development of Jade and Ryder's relationship and I got to see two very different sides to these characters.... a gentleness, a compassion I would never have believed but these two brought out the best in each other and I loved reading their story. Their desire had morphed into something that was so much more than physical attraction but they both fought it trying to convince themselves that when they'd had their fill of sex, they'd be able to walk away!!! Oh please!!!!
My breath hitched- he'd called me baby-
not babe, not bitch, not Princess. Just baby. Add I loved it.
I absolutely got much more sex in this book ... soooo much more and Ryder was one hell of a dirty mouthed biker... he was "cunt struck!!!" I mean who the hell would get away with saying that? Only this man!!!! Their physical relationship was animalistic, primal and Ryder was very much in charge but it worked and had me feeling all flushed.
This book definitely gave me some of the answers to the questions that had arisen in book one and I could definitely see the direction the next book will take. The groundwork has been laid for future plots and I'm intrigued to see how this will all work out. Can opposites really attract and actually work out? Can two worlds that are so completely different come together and find harmony or will it continue to be an uphill struggle? Time will tell!!!!

Other than a couple of revelations that I felt lacked a little depth (unfortunately I did roll my eyes ... sorry), this was again a quick read that I did enjoy. I rated "Two World's Colliding" 3.5 Hearts
