Review: Christina Lauren's "Beautiful Player (Beautiful Bastard # 3)".

~ 5 Hearts Review ~

A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.

My Review: Jo Knipe

Wow!! This book was yet another fabulous and extremely sexy read from the "Beautiful Bastard" Series. "Beautiful Player" is the third book and just like the previous books this one did not disappoint. I was hooked from the first words and read it in a day.

If you've yet to read the first two books "Beautiful Bastard" and "Beautiful Stranger" I really recommend that you read them first along with the two novellas "Beautiful Bitch" and "Beautiful Bombshell."

In this story we were introduced to Will and Hanna. I really liked Will. Despite being a bit of a player with the ladies, he really was beautiful and not the commitment shy, bad boy that I expected him to be. By the end of the book I found myself falling a little bit in love with him.

"This isn't just sex, this feeling that it's so good it almost hurts?
it's been like this every time I've been inside you, Plum.
That's what it feels like when you do this with someone you're fucking insane for."

Hanna was young, funny, intelligent and pretty but didn't really have much experience in the boyfriend department. Hanna's older brother, Jenson, was concerned that Hanna needed to get out more and pointed her in the direction of his good friend, Will, to guide her in the world of dating. When Hanna and Will began hanging out, their friendship soon developed. I loved seeing how their relationship grew and how their characters changed throughout the story. At times their inability to declare their true feelings for each other made me go a bit crazy but holy hotness when they got into the bedroom, sparks flew!! My kindle became a little overheated at times!!

"I think about having you spread over my face and taking you on the floor just inside
my apartment because I can wait long enough to get us anywhere more comfortable."

I loved this story from start to finish, the ending made my heart skip a few beats and it leads perfectly into the final book in the series "Beautiful Beginnings".

"Beautiful Player" was well written with chapters written from both Will or Hanna's point of view which I prefer.  I enjoyed being able to know what each of the characters were truly thinking and feeling.

Throughout the story we were also re-united with Bennett and Chloe and Max and Sara from the first two books. I loved finding out what was going on with them and also how the three couples had become a close group of friends. I cant wait to read "Beautiful Beginnings" but I will be a little sad that it's the last story. Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings have written a sexy series of books and given us three very hot book boyfriends. I really couldn't choose a favourite between Bennett, Max or Will, could you?
I give "Beautiful Player" a very sexy 5 hearts.
