Release Blitz & Review: Kirsty Dallas's "Stupid Love."

The Hopeless Romantics Book Blog are pleased to be part of the Release Blitz for Kirsty Dallas's "Stupid Love."

Synopsis:

Cocktails…tick
Wing-woman …tick
Sunny beach and hot cabana boy…tick
One pissed off father who just happens to be the God of Love…ahhh, dang it.
Phoibe Cupid (aka Bee aka Hedone) is in the business of love…and she hates it. Stuck in a dead end job with no reprieve in sight, she and her trusty BFF, Mac (aka Mac the blood thirsty aka Mac the formidable), travel the mortal realm leaving a trail of chaos and lusty humans in their wake. Life’s good, right up until that moment her daddy grounds her ass and shoots her with her own damn arrow. Now she’s nothing but a frisky horn-dog who has it bad for her potential soul mate and to make matters worse, he doesn’t feel the same way.

The best way to learn about love is to fall into it, kicking and screaming.

Review: Jo

With brilliant characters and a story that was just a little bit different, "Stupid Love" kept me entertained with every turn of the page. I loved this lighthearted and fun read.

"Love was for losers, the special kind
who used the wrong hand to make an 'L' on their forehead."

Bee had an extremely cynical view of love and stayed away from any kind of romance, which was kind of hilarious considering her family background and her job. Bee's surname was Cupid and her family business was all about helping people fall in love. Just as long as Bee didn't fall in love too. I loved Bee, she was a bright and breezy character that appeared to be having heaps of fun with best friend and partner in crime, Mac. Mac was an equally lovely character that I enjoyed getting to know and even though she was a secondary character, she supplied me with a truck load of amusement.

"Just go with it, Bee. Stop fighting and see how effing great love can be."

The story that was delivered by Kirsty was something different to most of the books that I'm reading at the moment and I enjoyed the refreshing change. It was an easy read with a slight paranormal aspect, which I found highly comical and appealing. And I just loved the romance element of the story. It was sweet and swoony without being over-the-top sickly sweet. It was just an all-round fabulous read about falling in love.

"Him and me, forever. Nothing had ever been so damn right."

If you are looking for a fun and lighthearted read, this one was well worth the read.

"Stupid Love" gets 4 hearts from me.
